The Sussex is Sovereign's combination summerhouse and storage building in a pent roofline style, with a choice of finish.

Specification
- Cladding: 12mm tongue & groove shiplap as standard, with premier 18mm shiplap, 15mm loglap and 15mm pressure-treated upgrades available
- A note on thicknesses: the figures above are finished sizes – standard cladding is sawn at 16mm and planed down to 12mm.
- Frame: 32mm x 44mm round corner timber framing – all framing used inside our buildings is rounded on all four corners
- Floor: 12mm tongue & groove floorboards (upgrade to 18mm heavy-duty premier floorboards, plain or pressure treated), laid on floor runners of 50mm x 32mm nominal timber – finishing at 28mm x 44mm – spaced approximately every 300mm
- Roof: 12mm tongue & groove roof boards under polyester roofing felt (heavy-duty felt, felt tiles or EPDM rubber upgrades available – felt tiles come in Black, Slate, Red or Green)
- Treatment: water-based factory base coat as standard. Painted finishes are available in a choice of two colours on any building, from Sage, Red, Dark Pink, Swiss Blue, Turquoise, Light Pink, Lilac, Yellow, White, Light Blue, Cream and Cornflower Blue. The manufacturer recommends an application of spirit-based wood preservative on installation and annually thereafter; failing to do so can impair the building's performance and may invalidate any guarantees
- Glazing: 3mm toughened glass in storm-proof windows, 1574mm x 442mm, with opening panes of 1445mm x 440mm and 1040mm x 442mm
- Doors: rebated joinery door, 1780mm x 1170mm, with a 1574mm x 442mm glazed panel, plus a separate 1780mm x 755mm storage door, all with chrome butt hinges and a 3-lever lock and handle
- Outside: 12mm x 120mm fascias, window cill and door drip, with a 400mm roof overhang
- Heights: 1950mm to the eaves, 2170mm to the ridge
- Sizes: 12ft x 6ft up to 20ft x 12ft
- Bespoke sizes: the pent roofline suits a boundary wall, so if your run is an odd length we can quote for a Sussex to fit

Before your delivery day
Your base needs to be level, solid and the same size as the building's floor, and someone needs to be home to let the team in. Not sure about your base or your access? Send us a photo and we'll check it for you. Full details on our Sovereign delivery, installation and guarantee page.
Guarantee
Every Sovereign building carries a 1-year guarantee: within that period, any defect in the installation will be repaired or put right free of charge. Ex-display buildings and roofing felt are excluded. Please also keep up the spirit-based preservative treatment described above – on installation and annually thereafter – as letting it lapse can impair the building's performance and may invalidate any guarantees.
