Every building we sell is made to order by the manufacturer and delivered direct from them to you. This page explains where we deliver, how long it usually takes, what to expect on the day and how to get your building on a solid base and put up.

Where we deliver
We deliver to mainland England, Scotland and Wales.
- We're not able to deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or other islands.
- Some Scottish Highlands postcodes need checking with the manufacturer before we can confirm delivery. Please contact us for Highlands and island postcodes before you order.
- A few products, such as Beeston concrete garages and stores, are only delivered and installed within a set distance of the manufacturer. Where this applies, it's shown on the product page. Please check your postcode with us first.
How delivery works
1. We call you to confirm the details
Once you've placed your order, one of our team will call you, usually within 24 hours. We'll confirm your building layout (such as door and window positions), talk through any access restrictions at your property and give you the current lead time.
2. Your building is made to order
We pass your order to the manufacturer, who builds it to your chosen specification. The manufacturer then delivers it direct to you. We'll let you know how delivery is arranged for your building and give you the manufacturer's contact details so you can keep track of it.
3. Delivery day
- Kerbside delivery: many self-assembly kits, including Power Sheds, are delivered kerbside only. That means the driver unloads at the roadside or the nearest point the vehicle can safely reach. Drivers can't carry heavy packs through your house or move pallets over gravel, grass or steps, so plan to have a helper on hand to carry the parts to your garden.
- Access: buildings often arrive on large lorries, and some larger buildings come on a lorry with a crane. Please tell us about narrow lanes, low bridges, weight limits, parking restrictions or steep driveways when we call, so we can let the manufacturer know in advance.
- Being in: please make sure someone is at home to receive and sign for your delivery. Delivery windows can cover most of the working day, so we recommend you don't book an installer for the same day as a kit delivery.
- Checking parts: check your delivery against the parts list as soon as you can, and before you start building or book an installer. If any packaging looks damaged when it arrives, make a note of it when you sign.
Typical lead times
Lead times vary between manufacturers and at different times of year, and can move up or down with demand. The figures below are typical lead times only, based on our own recent orders and what each manufacturer publishes. We'll confirm the current lead time for your building when we call you.

Bases
Every garden building needs a firm, level base. Without one, doors can stick, roofs can twist and damp can get in. Your base should be ready before your building is installed.
If you'd like a professionally laid concrete base, we work with our partner Midland Base Works. Their concrete bases are precision laid, level and load-bearing, with a fast turnaround. They're suitable for sheds, garden rooms and home offices, and larger projects too. Get in touch to discuss your project and check they cover your area.

Installation
Whether installation is included depends on the manufacturer. Each product page explains what's included, and here's a quick summary:

Installer availability depends on where you live, so please contact us and we'll let you know what's possible.
Damaged or missing parts
We want your building to arrive in perfect condition. If something is damaged or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, so we can sort it out quickly with the manufacturer.
- Don't assemble any damaged parts, as this can make a replacement harder to arrange.
- Take clear photos of the damaged parts and of the packaging.
- Check the parts list and note which items are damaged or missing.

- We'll work with the manufacturer to arrange replacements for you.
Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland or the islands?
Sorry, no. We deliver to mainland England, Scotland and Wales only. For Scottish Highlands postcodes, please contact us before ordering so we can check with the manufacturer.
Is delivery free?
Many of our buildings include free delivery, and some include installation too. What's included is shown on each product page. If you're unsure, just ask.
Can I choose my delivery date?
This depends on the manufacturer. We'll talk you through how delivery is booked for your building when we call to confirm your order.
Will the driver carry my building into the garden?
For kerbside deliveries, no. The driver will unload at the kerbside or the nearest safe point, so you'll need to move the parts yourself. Where installation is included, the installation team handles this.
Will my building arrive assembled?
Most buildings arrive as panels or kits, ready to be put up on your base. Some ranges are installed for you by the manufacturer. See the installation table above.
Does my base need to be ready before delivery?
Your base must be ready, level and (for concrete) fully set before your building is put up. If you're installing it yourself, keep the parts flat, dry and covered until you're ready.
Do I need planning permission?
Many garden buildings don't, but some do. Read our planning permission guide before you order.
Can I spread the cost?
