Do I need a base?
Yes – every garden building needs a firm, level base, ready before your building is put up. Where we sell a matching base for this building, you’ll see it as an option above.

Getting the size right: the size in a building’s name (for example “8x6”) is a rounded, nominal size. The real floor or base footprint can be a little different, and the roof usually overhangs further. Build your base to the manufacturer’s base or floor measurement, not the name.

Description
The Gisburn Combi is a versatile combination greenhouse featuring an integrated pent storage area alongside a growing space – the best of both in one building. It has two doors, one into the storage space and one into the main greenhouse, and a hinged door divider separates the two halves, so you can keep tools and compost out of the growing space while still walking straight through from one to the other.

Specification
- Frame: 44mm x 44mm pressure-treated RaC framing with a factory-applied microporous oil coating, which needs re-applying each year
- Glazing: 3mm toughened glass throughout, glazed down to ground level as standard (boarded dwarf walls are an optional upgrade, not standard on the Gisburn Combi)
- Storage area: standard pent roof section clad in 11mm timber
- Ventilation: one opening window as standard (two on the largest size)
- Staging: single shelf staging with brackets, 235mm to 510mm wide depending on size
- Doors: two doors, one to the storage space and one to the greenhouse, with a hinged door divider between them
- Base: clip installation system, allowing the greenhouse to be relocated
- Eaves height: 1860mm. Ridge height: 2010mm
- Sizes: 4ft9in x 4ft2in up to 9ft4in x 8ft1in (1448mm x 1270mm up to 2845mm x 2465mm), excluding the storage section
- How we measure: sizes are shown as length x gable end, so on a 10ft x 8ft building the 8ft side is the gable end. Some other manufacturers quote sizes the other way round, so please check the layout against your space before ordering.

Before your delivery day
Your base needs to be level, solid and the same size as the building's floor, and someone needs to be home to let the team in. Not sure about your base or your access? Send us a photo and we'll check it for you. Full details on our Sovereign delivery, installation and guarantee page.
Guarantee: 1 year on the installation work. Treat the timber with a spirit-based preservative when it goes up and once a year after, to keep the guarantee valid.
