Composite specification

• WPC composite cladding, with the colour running right through the board rather than sitting on the surface
• No rot, no warp, and a wipe-clean exterior: ideal if you've had enough of timber upkeep
• UV-stabilised and rated to hold its colour to within 10% over 10 years
• Choose your colour above: Dark Ash or Sandal Wood as standard, or Oak Wood or Red Cedar at a small extra cost.
• Zero upkeep: no painting, staining or treating
• 30-year manufacturer's warranty on the composite cladding, plus the 20-year anti-rot guarantee on the timber frame
• EPDM rubber roof included

What's behind the cladding

The composite is the skin; the frame is timber. Every building is built on a Tanalith E pressure-treated 38 x 50mm timber framework, the same as our timber buildings. Over that goes a BBA-certified breathable membrane, then the composite boards on the outside.

Timber or composite?

The one thing composite can't do is change colour: it can't be repainted. If you'd like to paint or stain your building any colour and change it later, see the timber Apex Shed with a single door or double door, tanalised with a 20-year anti-rot guarantee. Compare the two.
