Think first about how you will use it. A summer room, home office, gym or workshop all need different sizes and layouts. Our sizes are the outside size of the cabin, not counting roof overhangs, so leave about 18 inches to 2 feet clear around it. Try our Find buildings that fit tool.
Our cabins come with 19mm, 28mm or 44mm walls. Thicker logs make a sturdier cabin that holds heat better, so they suit rooms you will use more of the year. Our guide log cabin wall thickness explained goes through each one.
A log cabin needs a solid, level base. See what base you need. Most cabins arrive as a kit for self-build, and delivery terms depend on the range and your postcode. The product page explains both. Bigger cabins, or ones used for sleeping, may need planning permission, so read our planning permission guide.
Our Display Site at Buzzards Valley, between Lichfield and Tamworth (B78 3EQ), has 20+ buildings to walk round, 7 days a week. Not every model is on display, so ring 01543 398778 if you want to see something in particular or talk it through.

Most of our log cabins arrive as a kit for you or an installer to build. Delivery terms depend on the range and your postcode, and each product page explains them.
Yes, many people do. Choose thicker walls for year-round use and plan your power with a qualified electrician. Our garden offices page also has insulated rooms built for working from home.
Our log cabins from Power Sheds bring the warmth and character of solid 44mm interlocking timber to a workshop, garden room or garden bar. Choose from apex, pent and chalet rooflines in a wide range of sizes, from a compact retreat right up to a double garage.
A log cabin needs a firm, level base before delivery, and taller buildings may need planning permission, so it is worth checking before you order. Every cabin is made to order and delivered direct to mainland England, Scotland and Wales.
